Hi! I’m Julia, I graduated from the University of Leeds last year with a BA in Liberal Arts. For the last six months I have been working as Community Arts Assistant at Severn Arts across a range of different projects. This has been a fantastic opportunity to learn more about their Arts Development programme and gain skills in project coordination. Read more
Nel joined Severn Arts to support freelance creative producer Katy with the community-led Worcester Carnival, gaining hands-on experience in creative workshops, float building, and event planning while discovering a passion for creative producing. Read more

This project aimed to bring together the diverse groups accessing Inspire's support centre at Winyates Barn, helping them to explore a range of creative activities whilst reflecting on their personal stories. Read more
Young Producers is a project giving young people in Worcestershire the opportunity to design and host an event as part of the Severn Arts Summer Festival on 28 June 2025. This year, 13 Young Producers aged 13-18 have made their own creative event: ‘Creating a Sustainable Tomorrow’. Read more

Across January to March 2026, 33 young people aged 12-15 got involved in another Forge project. Over 10 weeks, they chose to develop their skills in music, dance, visual arts and filmmaking, exploring different ways to showcase their creativity. Read more
In November 2024, visual artist Sarah Edwards from Spare Room Arts was commissioned by Severn Arts, with funding from Worcestershire County Council’s Public Health department, to co-create a new mural with the community that celebrates their neighbourhood. Read more
‘This Show Won’t End’ is a mini-musical that was co-created with young people from Wychbold YMCA Youth Club and Severn Arts facilitator Jimmy Bates. It was made as part of The Forge, an exciting arts programme that invites young people to produce a project based on the shared interests of the group. Read more
