Lucy was a passionate musician. Her colleagues described her as the most incredible music teacher and that they loved sitting in on her music lessons as they were inspirational and the children were mesmerised by her. Lucy suddenly and unexpectedly passed away 14/5/25. The family know that she would be honoured to fund raise for a cause that has the same values and goals as he had and the family will take comfort that the children and young people are benefiting from Lucy's legacy.
In October 2023 the world lost the epic talent of Stu. The Stuart Silcock Young Musicians Award will provide music tuition to children who may not otherwise get the opportunity to progress their talent. This is a cause Stu would have appreciated and will put his name to something positive for the future.
To show that anyone can learn to play an instrument, from anywhere, at any time and to make sure this is available to all our young people regardless of circumstances.
