CMPSR - accessible, fun and gamified music making

We have added a new music technology teaching package to our music offer, suitable for years 5 and 6! Developed by Digit Music and using the CMPSR this new fully accessible ten-week programme teaches areas of the music curriculum including: pulse, rhythm and time keeping, pitch, dynamics, composition, performance and appraisal. The package will include a day of CPD to fully equip teachers to facilitate the lessons.

Turntablism

This exciting ten week course, developed by Leicestershire Music, is ideal for years 5, 6, 7 and 8. Schools signing up to this offer will be provided with training to deliver the course, equipment for 30 learners and access to resources and tutorial videos. Over the ten weeks it is then up to the school how many children take part in the lessons - the sky's the limit!

Across the ten weeks a number of curricular outcomes can be taught and assessed: pulse and rhythm, graphic notation, performance, composition, and a diverse contemporary genre. To find out more information about turntablism, please email Debbie on [email protected]
